1. Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Store Information: We collect your Shopify store domain, store email, and configuration settings to provide our services and manage your account.
• Order Information: We access order details including the customer's name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and order value. This is strictly required to perform risk analysis, verify Cash on Delivery (COD) orders via OTP, and manage order statuses.
• Customer Contact Details: We process phone numbers and email addresses solely for the purpose of dispatching verification codes (via SMS/WhatsApp or Email).

2. How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to provide the Service and to operate the App. Additionally, we use this personal information to:

• Send automated verification codes (OTPs) to your customers to confirm their COD orders.
• Calculate a risk score to identify potentially fraudulent orders or customers with a high Return to Origin (RTO) probability.
• Communicate with you regarding updates, support, and account management.
• Sync order tags and statuses back to your Shopify dashboard.

3. Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your personal information with third parties to help us provide our services to you, as described above. For example:

• Shopify: We use Shopify's API to access your store's order data and to update order statuses/tags.
• Communication Providers: We integrate with third-party providers (such as Twilio) strictly for the purpose of sending SMS, WhatsApp, or Email verification codes to your customers.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

When an order is placed through your store, we maintain the Order Information necessary for verification and risk scoring for our records. We do not retain this data longer than necessary to provide the service and maintain operational logs.

5. Security

We are committed to protecting your personal information. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

6. Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
